Fundraising Update – Green Crowd had another successful year raising funds under the EIIS scheme to help fund three companies.
Tipperary based company, Bioenergy Technology, a dedicated biomass boiler manufacturer has exceeded their target and raised €528,000 to fund the installation, commissioning and operations of six biomass heat generating systems. The biomass systems will be installed at nursing homes, commercial office blocks and leisure centres and will provide the heat energy produced under fifteen-year supply and maintenance contracts. All contracts will benefit from support under the government funded Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH) administered by Sustainable Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
Solarstream installs PV Solar Systems on commercial and domestic roof tops throughout the island of Ireland with its Head Office based in Carlow. Solarstream raised almost €1m to allow the business to continue to provide a ‘Solar as a Service’ offering to the residential homeowners and expand the offering to commercial business owners. The business expects to install up to 1 megawatt per year (equivalent of 300 residential installations) onto commercial and domestic rooftops on an ongoing annual basis.
Avoncourt Building & Construction raised close to €500K of start-up funds to capitalise a niche residential construction company to meet the on the growing demand for residential homes.The money raised by the company will be used to commence building and construction on residential projects.
