From the start of 2022, there have been continuous shortages of products with uncertainty of supply of panels, inverters and fitting rails.

Green Tech Distributors was established to provide a certainty of supply chain and more competitive pricing for solar PV installers in Ireland. Through providing a Co-Op based pricing and rebate structure, Green Tech Distributors aim to be the leading distributor in the Irish market. Customers will benefit from a wider range of products with longer warranty periods and certainty of supply.

Through their partnership with Green Crowd, they’re not only raising funds, but they are also laying the foundation for a cleaner, more energy efficient Ireland.

Battery storage is a cornerstone of a resilient and efficient energy system, and Batterybox Technologies is leading the charge in this area. Specialising in supplying and installing battery storage facilities at SME commercial premises, Batterybox Technologies is empowering businesses to maximise their energy utilisation while minimising their carbon footprint.

Batterybox designs bespoke agreements allowing the customer to apply the savings in electricity costs to pay for the battery system over the term of the agreement. The systems are installed at commercial premises under a ‘Battery as a Service’ (“BaaS”) and Power Purchase Agreements (“PPA’s”) whereby Batterybox installs the systems and meets the upfront capital cost of the installation.

The synergy between Batterybox Technologies and Green Crowd signifies the collective effort required to transform how energy is stored and consumed in Ireland.
